How about another round of midnight oil. I think I'll go for another 4am bedtime. It starts to wear on you after the 9th week. Why didn't the recruiters tell me that when I was filling in the engineering boxes...
It's interesting how physicists/mathematicians and engineers teach their classes differently. Physics/math-> theory then maybe an example.
Engineers- examples then maybe theory.
Either way, I've got a couple hours of math to do tonight. I seem to have found a happy medium with my studies. It isn't quite love, not quite hate. More of a necessity. The major isn't changing, so I might as well get as much as possible from it.
This computer is weird, occasionally the mouse pointer will just disappear on the screen for no reason. Even when no windows are open.. it just vaporizes into the desktop wallpaper.
Big weekend folks. Halloween. I'm pretty disappointed with a few people who aren't coming. Pretty happy with a few who are.
I have this feeling that I'm party of a generation that is going to fuck some shit up. Generations coming before and going after us aren't quite the same. We're part of something bigger. It's all about the innovation. Taking what is given and making it ten times better. The mouse pointer vaporized again, it's all by keyboard now. Things that worked for our elders (aka bosses, granparents, previous leaders) aren't working for us because they aren't good enough. It's time to innovate.
