Whew! Close one.

Senate Republicans on Tuesday agreed to expand oversight of President George W. Bush's domestic spying program but rejected Democratic pressure for a broad inquiry into eavesdropping on U.S. citizens. (Yahoo News)

Bush again saved by his little brothers. I can't say I have much confidence in some weak ass subcommittee, but hey, here's to hoping. That's sweet that it was approved by the White House beforehand, too.
