What Mix got:

Subject: Lodge Bar Happy Hour Details!

Greetings from The Lodge Bar Cincinnati!

We tried calling you last week, and left a message on your phone. We were calling to invite you and your friends out for one of our weekend Happy Hour Parties! If you think you might be interested in hosting one (it is completely free to do!), here are the details:

Our Happy Hour Parties run from 5-9pm on Fridays and 7-9pm on Saturdays.

Our specials include:

$1.50 pitchers

$1.50 well drinks

$3 u call its (excludes top shelf, shots, and Red Bull) A light appetizer buffet

As a happy hour host, you will also automatically receive a $10 gift card just for booking with us! Then, as an added bonus, we will give you an additional $25 gift card if you have 10 or more guests! Free table reservations are available upon request. We also have 2 private party areas that can be reserved at no charge for larger groups (such as a corporate happy hour, after work party, birthday party, etc); please ask for details if you wish to reserve one of these areas.

Let me know if you would be interested and might have a date that would work for you and your friends, co-workers, family, etc. If you would like, I can send you a list of upcoming promotions and events to help pick a date.

Have a great week, and we hope to hear from you soon!

What Mix sent back:

Dear XXX and your fellow Lodge Bar Legions,

I'm not entirely sure how you got my number (or email) as I've never been to your bar, or Cincinnati for that matter.

And while I will say you have a pretty good deal, I must insist please take me off your list. I won't be able to drop in anytime soon, and generally make it a point to avoid Ohio and its touchy highway patrol officers.

Finally, if you could let me know where you got my contact details, that'd be helpful, especially if it was from an attractive girl. I don't even have a phone number right now (just got back from abroad), so if you could pass that along to her that'd be most appreciated.

Keep those pitchers cheap and affordable,
