What is the half-life of bad legislation?

Tomorrow is going to be rough, friends. 4:37am.
Sometimes all you can do is think about Steam Boat Willy and think "this one's for you, big guy. This one's for you..."

Let the rules be your's, I'm done with mine

How about another round of midnight oil. I think I'll go for another 4am bedtime. It starts to wear on you after the 9th week. Why didn't the recruiters tell me that when I was filling in the engineering boxes...
It's interesting how physicists/mathematicians and engineers teach their classes differently. Physics/math-> theory then maybe an example.
Engineers- examples then maybe theory.
Either way, I've got a couple hours of math to do tonight. I seem to have found a happy medium with my studies. It isn't quite love, not quite hate. More of a necessity. The major isn't changing, so I might as well get as much as possible from it.
This computer is weird, occasionally the mouse pointer will just disappear on the screen for no reason. Even when no windows are open.. it just vaporizes into the desktop wallpaper.
Big weekend folks. Halloween. I'm pretty disappointed with a few people who aren't coming. Pretty happy with a few who are.
I have this feeling that I'm party of a generation that is going to fuck some shit up. Generations coming before and going after us aren't quite the same. We're part of something bigger. It's all about the innovation. Taking what is given and making it ten times better. The mouse pointer vaporized again, it's all by keyboard now. Things that worked for our elders (aka bosses, granparents, previous leaders) aren't working for us because they aren't good enough. It's time to innovate.
Fuck shit up, man.
Fuck shit uP.

Bartender please, the wine that's drinking me...

Tonight it's just me, my statics, a bottle of vodka and no regrets..

Tomorrow it'll be that, minus the statics, plus the mechanics...

Might get a nickel for your name, course you won't need it where you're going..

"Tuition at the nation's public universities rose an average of 10.5 percent this year, the second largest increase in more than a decade, according to the latest annual survey by the College Board. Last year's rise, 13 percent, was the highest. Private universities and community colleges also increased tuition, by 6 percent and 9 percent, in a year when inflation has been about 2.5 percent. The tuition increases at private and community colleges were also among the steepest in a decade. It is the first time that the average tuition at the nation's postsecondary institutions has surpassed $20,000 for a private college, $5,000 for a public university and $2,000 for a community college." I'm not a rich man, and I'm not getting any richer. I just talked to a friend in the Navy.. he's visited Malaysia, Japan, and Australia among others., but spends most of his days working on a carrier. He's counting the days (about 1400) until he get's out. After a comment from your's truly about how well he eat's (he was waiting outside Outback) compared to me, he put it all in perspective:
"You may be much poorer, but you're also much happier."
Indeed.

I'm the man who brings you roses when you ain't got none

Entirely too much fun was had this weekend and the inevitable crash back into reality has hit hard. Tests on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday's test is critical to a successful semester and thus requires immediate and continual attention.
When will I learn?
